Hadarim Towers [ Citrus Towers ]
A series of sculptures in the courtyard of the "Hadarim" School in Or Yehuda.
The aim was to create an identity for the school as a source of pride and increased pupil-school identification.
There is an old tradition in the Middle East whereby territory is delineated by stone towers. These large, colorful stone towers, resembling citrus fruits, form the base for colorful trellised arbors which provide focal points and venues for casual student gatherings and meetings.
